Cookie Policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Argentina Tango (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.argentinatango.com, which choices you have, and how to change them at any time. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things such as your preferences or a booking in progress. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in the same way, and this policy covers them too. Cookies set by our own website are “first-party” cookies; cookies set by another company whose content appears on our pages (for example YouTube) are “third-party” cookies.

How we use cookies

We group cookies into three categories:

Your choices

When you first visit our website, a banner asks for your choice. No performance or marketing cookies are set, and no videos, maps or social posts from other companies are loaded, until you allow them. You can accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose category by category under “Manage Preferences”.

You can change your mind at any time: use the button below or the “Cookie Settings” link at the bottom of every page. When you switch a category off, we delete the cookies we can and stop loading that category’s content.

The cookies we use

The tables below list the cookies and similar technologies our website can set, grouped by category. Third-party providers may change the names and durations of their cookies; their own policies have the latest details.

Third-party content

Some pages show content hosted by other companies: videos from YouTube, posts from Instagram and maps from Google Maps. Until you allow marketing cookies, we show a placeholder instead, and nothing is loaded from these companies. If you allow them, these companies receive information such as your IP address and may set their own cookies, under their own privacy policies:

If you choose a language other than English from the language menu, the page is translated by Google Translate. Google Translate only loads after you make that choice.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, the marketing cookies described above may count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising under California law. You can opt out at any time by switching Marketing cookies off, or by using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link at the bottom of every page.

We also honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends it, Marketing cookies stay off unless you switch them on yourself.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the website, such as booking and payment, may not work. Help for the most common browsers:

How long we keep your choice

Your choice is stored for 12 months in the at_cookie_consent cookie, after which we ask you again. We also ask again if we change the cookies we use. To show that consent was given, we keep an anonymous record of each choice: a random ID, the categories chosen and the date. This record contains no IP address or other information that identifies you, and is deleted after 3 years.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if we change the cookies we use. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
